I can’t wait to make this recipe tonight, and will look forward to more soon! Thank you again for all of your help!

    -bella 🙂

  2. Thank you! It came out great, and he was happy to have whole fish this way! I could not find sea bream here where I live, but used another called red drum fish, and it worked well thank you!

Next, I will try your 3 cup chicken, and will look for his other favorites : yu pien jo (the fish porridge?) and also fan tuan!
    Have a lovely weekend! ^ ^

  3. I’m happy to discover your blog !
This fish look so delicious !

  4. I cooked this but changed used chinese black vinegar instead of the worcester sauce, I also added a few red chillies at the same stage as the spring onions. It was delightful and I am cooking again tonight

    thank you for sharing

  5. Hi Joanne,

thank you so much for yet another of your recipes that I have tried out just today for lunch, since I was able to get very nice sea bream from the stores. It works fast and easy and more important: it tastes great !!! Yum, yum…

Though, running out of fish sauce I took oyster sauce instead and I think it works just fine. Also, I added to the stir fry some finger size chops of green asparagus along with the vegetable you recommend, since I didn’t have a chance getting green vegetables like Pak Choi or Jay-tsai from the Asia store this time….and my own Pak Choi that I grow outside on my balcony isn’t grown far enough yet. Though, growing these things on the balcony one doesn’t need to fight against rivals such as slugs or rabbits.

Thanks again and, please, keep sharing your recipes.

    • Hi Steffen, I’m happy that your sea bream meal went well. My garden is very productive right now. Soon we had better watch out for butterflies and caterpillars – they can even reach your balcony! JJ
